Our mission is to enable individuals with Autism Spectrum
Disorder and other Developmental Disabilities to live fulfilling lives
as members of the community by providing support services customized to
their individual needs.
As we approach the 50th anniversary of Jay Nolan Community Services, we are filled with gratitude for the incredible journey we've shared with you and the neurodiverse community we serve. This milestone is not just a celebration of our success, but of the unwavering support from people like you who have made it all possible.
In 1975, a group of visionary parents imagined a brighter future for their children with Autism that was rooted in community, not institutionalization. Together they pioneered community-based services that empowered their children to thrive. By 1993, Jay Nolan transitioned to an individualized support model, allowing people to live independent, valued lives in their own homes, pursue fulfilling careers, and build meaningful relationships within their communities.
Today, we continue to be inspired by the stories of people like Anne-Marie, Chris, and Benjamin, whose remarkable journeys are highlighted in our latest Annual Report. They are just a few of the 121 people we are helping live independently in the community of their choice, pursuing their dreams and passions.
Over the years, Jay Nolan has grown to support more than 550 neurodiverse individuals across California. As part of our continued commitment to inclusivity, we have expanded our services to Spanish-speaking, Korean, Armenian and Deaf communities, and into underserved areas like Kern and Monterey Counties. By breaking language barriers and reaching more diverse populations, we’re ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to live a life of independence and dignity. But our work is far from done. With your continued partnership, we can extend our reach and impact, changing the trajectory of even more lives.
Your generosity fuels this growth. Whether you give one time or make a recurring gift, every donation brings us closer to a world where neurodiverse individuals can live fully, independently, and with dignity. You can make a difference by donating via check, credit card, or QR code. If you click the monthly giving option online, your gift is spread out and your impact is felt throughout the year.
Thank you for supporting our mission. Together, we can achieve even greater things.
